College Attended/Degree/ What you do now ?

I am a Full-time Registered Nurse and proud graduate of Hillsborough Community College, where I earned my Associate of Science in Nursing. Helping people has always been at the core of what I do—both inside and outside the gym.

Your athletic background (did you play competitive sports, college sports; your certifications – (including what CrossFit certs you have).

My athletic background started with softball, playing competitively throughout middle and high school. I primarily played outfield but was always ready to step in wherever my team needed me, including second base and shortstop. I also competed on my high school weightlifting team, where I advanced to regionals my senior year. That experience taught me discipline, resilience, and how to bounce back—especially after learning the hard way that celebrating a PR a little too early can cost you a shot at states!

How did you find CrossFit?

I found CrossFit nearly nine years ago after burning out from the traditional gym routine. I was tired of the lack of structure and constantly trying to figure out my own programming. CrossFit gave me exactly what I was missing: purpose, intensity, and a strong sense of community—and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Favorite CrossFit move (could be Oly lift, other lift, cardio move, even burpees (if you really love them!))

My favorite movements are thrusters and handstand walks, and I have a love-hate relationship with snatches—they keep me humble and always striving to improve.

CrossFit athlete you would most like to WOD with (and for what reason).

If I could WOD with anyone, it would be Dave Castro. Getting to experience a workout with the mastermind behind CrossFit programming would be an unforgettable challenge.
